Dear Club Leaders,

I am delighted to invite you and your team members to register for the Rotary D1120 District Assembly on Saturday 2nd May 2026 at:

Aylesford School, Tea Pot Lane, Aylesford, ME20 7JU.

The event will start at 10:00 and refreshments are available from 09:30. The event will close at 14:30. A light lunch will be provided and a small donation towards costs on the day would be appreciated.

Assembly is the event to which all club Presidents Elect are invited to bring along their incoming club officers and team leads to hear from your incoming District Governor and team, regarding the hopes, challenges, and plans for the new Rotary year. After lunch there will be a number of breakout discussion groups led by the district team to pass on specifics to you and your club officers.

On Monday 10th January, following a frugal supper, PP Kitty Brook, her granddaughter, Kristina, and Kristina's partner, Akeem, gave a talk on 'Malcolm's Soup Kitchen'.

On Sunday 26th June we ran a Charity Cream Tea Party for around 100 people in aid of President Liz's chosen Charities -'Canine Helpers' and 'Kent MS Therapy Centre'. Thanks to all who helped make it a memorable afternoon.

President Liz Stuart-Smith received a cheque for £600.00 from the Ashford Muslim Association

The Rotary Club of Ashford join partners to collect for earthquake victims

The new Interact Club of Towers School is now up and running.

Paul Mott of McArthurGlen, Rotary President Renate Beerling, and the Mayor of Ashford, Larry Krause. Over £1,000 was made for Charity.

McArthurGlen Management teams up with the Rotary Club of Ashford to raffle prizes freely donated by many retailers at the Outlet Centre.

We were delighted on Monday night with a talk by 12 year old Lilia who explained the meanings of Ichimatsu Ningyo, Hina Ningyo, Daruma Ningyo, Kokeshi Ningyo and Gosho Ningyo; various forms of Japanese Doll.
