A private ambulance has been purchased for £6000. It is being prepared for delivery to Ukraine in June2026. Before that it will be exhibited around the district to help raise more funds for Ukraine. To hear more about the work of Rotary in Ukraine listen to this podcast recorded in March 2026.

Thank you everyone who donated during our street collection. We collected a magnificent £1265 towards our new target of £13000 to buy and deliver an Ambulance and medical supplies to Ukraine.
Especially during the ongoing conflict, every second counts for those injured and in desperate need of medical care in Ukraine. Hospitals are being targeted, resources stretched thin, and countless lives hang in the balance.

Rotary Monmouth are organising a street collection on February 21st to contribute to this appeal.
Since October 2025 Rotary Monmouth assisted by volunteers in Usk and Monmouth have:

• purchased and refurbished four 4x4 vehicles,
• collected lovingly packed Friendship Boxes,
• sorted and packed a large quantity of high-quality clothing and
• raised £2,700 to pay for the transport of the above to Ukraine.

Rotary Monmouth supports local and national charities and non profit groups through donations from our Charity fund and is part of the global Rotary Fellowship dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world.
