Community Champions

The Flower wall project is supported by Monmouth Town Council allowing Rotary Monmouth Community Champions to continue to plant seasonal flowers


The Monmouth Flower Wall is a project to cover the walls of an ugly building in the centre of Monmouth with flowers throughout the year. It costs £2,000 per year to buy the flowers, which is funded by Monmouth Town Council. The Monmouth Community Champions and Rotary Monmouth change the flowers twice a year and ensure that the watering system is in good order. 

As visitors stop to admire the historic Monnow Bridge and the associated sculpture reflecting the use of the are as livestock market, the flower wall will provide an added attraction.

The Rotary Monmouth Community Champions group usually meet on the last Thursday of each month, contact for details below
