Walk the Wye

Additional Important Information


  • Isabel's Bakehouse will be selling teas and coffees, accompanied by delicious cakes and crepes, at the finish of WALK THE WYE at Monmouth Show Ground on 12th May.  
    Even if you are not taking part, drop in between 1 and 5pm. There will be ice cream too.
  • We are hoping for good weather on the day, but please bring protective clothing in case it rains.
  • Please wear appropriate footwear for footpaths and uneven countryside. 
  • Please bring sun cream if it is a hot day.  
  • Please carry an adequate supply of water with you.
  • We advise you to bring a mobile phone with you. (emergency number on the day is 07748 853 328). Please be aware that mobile phone reception is patchy in the Wye valley.
  • Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Unfortunately, none of the walks are accessible by wheelchairs or push chairs.
  • Dogs are welcome on the walk. Please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead when passing through fields of sheep and cattle.

more Monmouth Rotary Club has registered with GOFUNDME to enable “Walk The Wye” entrants and supporters to make ONLINE donations. Each entrant will also be sent a sponsorship form to circulate to friends who would like to sponsor them.
