Through the charity fund raising events held by the club, the sum of £1,000 was donated to Great Western Hospital’s Brighter Futures to support their Hickory Dickory Dock project. Their aim is to raise £22,000 to be able to replace all the clocks in the hospital with Dementia Clocks. These clocks will be of great benefit to people suffering from this condition as they display information such as letters, numbers, morning or afternoon and month, all on a highly visible face which will help to reduce confusion.
Seen in the picture presenting the cheque to Adam Wainwright is Club President Gillian Vaughan. Also in attendance were President Elect Linda Locke and Secretary Nick Parker.
