Rotary Autumn Car Boot 2019

Ideal weather in a wonderful location set the scene for our last Rotary car boot event in 2019.  With the kind permission of John and Valerie Hicks, Lower Hook Farm was once again the venue for this very popular Rotary fundraising event. Sellers and Buyers turned out in huge numbers to enjoy a fine afternoon and sell or buy their bargains.

With over 200 stalls and an estimated 1000+ buyers, volunteering Rotary members, friends and family were all kept mightily occupied. Proceeds from the day coming from seller and buyer fees, our ever busy refreshment tent and two Rotary manned stalls, yielded a truly amazing net total of almost £3000.

Additionally, in light of the recent Hurricane Dorian devastation in the Bahamas, our bucket collection specifically for this disaster yielded a further £145. A special thank you for supporting this.
