Four schools entered their teams for the Youth Speaks competition organised by the Rotary Club of Royal Wootton Bassett and District.
By drawing lots, the speaking order of each team was random.
Each of the three speakers in a team was expected to talk for up to two minutes on a subject they had chosen.
The competitors took a break for refreshments whilst the judges totted up their scores to find the winning team.
The winners were the team from St Bartholomew's.
