Radio Programme from a Shelterbox

Fri, Sep 21st 2012 at 12:00 am - 12:00 am

BBC Wiltshire Radio broadcast their midday programme from a Shelterbox in a Rotary member's garden.

Club member and Past District Governor, Dave, invited Graham Seaman from BBC Radio Wiltshire to broadcast his show from a Shelterbox tent in his back garden.

It was fascinating to see how a show could be put together in a garden - nothing seemed to faze Graham, even the helpful neighbour who chose his timing perfectly to bring out his chain saw and reduce the height of his leylandii hedge.

The slideshow shows the stages of construction of the shelter from opening the box through to an 'instant' studio for a live radio broadcast.
