Rotary Summer Car Boot 2019

After some concern about the weather last week including heavy rainfall on Friday, the clouds cleared and we had a wonderful Sunday afternoon at our Summer Car Boot event.

Over 150 seller stalls came along coupled with over 400 buyers cars coming along seeking bargains. For a few hours the activity in the fields was really brisk.

Our catering team were also kept very busy selling their usual hot food, hot and cold drinks, cakes and pies etc. 

Royal Wootton Bassett Rotary are very pleased to announce that the day yielded over £2400 which will go towards to our Rotary supported charities.

We would again like to thank all members of the public who continue to support us.

Thank you also to our Rotarians and other volunteers who freely give up their time on and off the field to make holding this and other events possible. Also a thank you to those who have baked and donated cakes etc for selling in the refreshments tent.
