Two trustees William Underhill and Jane Whaley spoke to Rotary on the work of Stroud and Cotswold Districts citizens advice.
William spoke about strategy and finance and Jane spoke about operations and service provision. Citizens advice, founded in 1939, is a community and service organisation similar to Rotary International sharing and ethos of truth and fairness supporting folks with financial and social hardship.
Two reports :’ Our Impact 2024- 2025’ and ‘ Child Poverty, Local Evidence - National Action’ provide much background information.
This is a organisation that Rotary has and will continue to support and members are grateful for the very detailed presentation given from William and Jane.
Any information or connections to finding new premises in Stroud gratefully received.
Thanks to the 25 staff and 55 volunteers for the champion work they do at Citizens Advice.
