Part of the Shrubberies School, for students of 16-19 years old,covering:
We learnt more on on Wednesday evening our speaker was Judith Shackell, head of the Apperley Centre, telling us the aims of the school for young adults with special needs. They move from the Shrubberies and are at the school from 16 years to 18 and then move on to Stroud or Gloucester Colleges, or on to supported living. Jude's enthusiasm for each young person to get the best from the school was an inspiration and impressed a lot of the members there.
