“Colours of Nature” was the theme for the painting competition held on Thursday 30th March at The Shrubberies School , Stonehouse.
A colourful display of 35-40 paintings greeted President Richard, members Yvonne and Maxine and judge Jenny Warner as they entered the room.
The paintings were excellent and the children had interpreted “Colours of Nature” in their own way so they were all very different.
After careful judging Jenny selected a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize and talked to the children about the paintings telling them the reason for her choice of winners.
1st Prize - PIPPA 2nd Prize – 3rd Prize – BILLY
The winners received Amazon vouchers and every entrant received a certificate stating that they had taken part in the competition.
Bouquets of spring flowers were presented to Judge Jenny and Jess the childrens’ Art teacher.
