A new raft for 2014!
Well - a new raft for 2014. See the photo above of our maiden voyage earlier in September.
A superb day weather wise - just right. The water level was fairly low, but the sleeker raft was able to take the rapids well, and only grounded once or twice very slightly.
And we cut our race time by a quarter, down to 1hr 29 minutes. This enabled us to take 4th position overall - from a record entry of just over 100 rafts!
