Well, in spite of inclement weather - actually pretty dreadful in the morning - the show went ahead, with virtually a 100% turnout from the anticipated competitors.
President of the Society, Matti Ross was a very busy lady, as was the Chairman and Secretary, Simon Lewis, and Vice Chairman Chris Brine.. But their organisational skills and efforts were well rewarded.
Some excellent displays; face painting for the youngsters, some nice refreshment and home-made scone cream teas. And as the weather cleared, then many of the outside family fun events were able to take pace.
