Jordan Turner (on the right) founded the “Change Lives – Say No to Knives” campaign in memory of her brother Lee, who was tragically stabbed in 2021. Her mission is to educate young people and prevent knife crime through school visits, mentoring, and public advocacy.
Jordan Turner’s journey began after the loss of her brother Lee Turner, who was fatally stabbed in Swindon in October 2021. Determined to turn grief into action, she co-founded *Change Lives – No To Knives* in March 2023 with her friend Danyelle King.
The initiative focuses on:
- **Educating youth** about the dangers and consequences of carrying knives.
- **Visiting schools and youth clubs** to share personal stories and offer practical guidance.
- **Mentoring young offenders** to reduce reoffending and break cycles of violence.
- **Promoting knife amnesties** and advocating for stronger school security, including metal detectors.
Jordan’s work is a powerful example of turning personal tragedy into a force for change.
