Thanks to the generosity of everyone who came we have raised the fantastic sum of £1,480 for the Brighter Futures Cancer Services Appeal

Event Details

Horse Racing on screen and a fish and chip supper in Wanborough Village Hall, High St, Wanborough.

A repeat of the 2018 successful event when £950 was raised for the Youth Adventure Trust

This fund-raising event for the Brighter Futures Cancer Services Appeal is not just for members. 

 Everyone welcome.

Tickets £15 pp 

The ticket will include a mouth-watering Fish and Chip supper from the Bakers Arms, Badbury
Arguably the best Fish and Chips for miles around.

Cash Bar, Tote and Prize Draw

Doors open 6.45pm
First Race at 7pm
Supper at 7.30pm

Rotary’s second major donation, of £208,000, was handed over on 7th July 2021 when local Rotarians visited the Great Western Hospital to view the build progress of the nearly completed radiotherapy unit.

We went to the races in March. It was a meeting with 10 races, 8 riders in each. It wasn’t at Epsom, or Haydock Park, or just up the M4 at Newbury. It was, of all places, in Wanborough Village Hall.
