The attendance of a club member’s wife on a 65 plus course alerted Mark Todd to the guest speakers Gillian Kelly and Bill Hunter from Fife Safer Communities. The former road traffic officers delivered advice from road safety education, child seats etc with an aim to reduce serious injuries and road traffic fatalities.
Young people are very vulnerable. 1 in 4 have accidents in their first year of driving but older drivers will find it much more difficult to recover from a road accident.
