ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – 21st May 2024

Part 1 – Brian Mitchell in the chair

1. Treasurer’s interim report on the year 2024.

Proposed budget for the year 2024-25 was approved.

Club subscriptions for 2024-25

 The 2023/24 fees were set at £87 and comprised the following elements: District - £6; RGBI -   £78; and RCWF -   £3. The District Fees for 24/25 will be £8; and the proposed RGBI fees are £82, totalling £90. In addition, £10 will be required from each member to cover the expected level of club expenses based on the 2023/24 actual costs so far.

 It is therefore proposed to set the 2024/25 subscription fees at £100. Club members will be able to choose to pay the fees in full in June, or to pay 50% in June, and 50% in December.

3. Confirm selection of Conveners of committees for 2024-25

4. Election of two club representatives on the District Council for next Rotary year (2024-25).
Mark Todd and Robert North were elected.

5. Appointment of an Independent Examiner for next Rotary year (2024-25) was agreed
