C-B being the nickname of Henry Campbell--Bannerman, who was PM 1905-8 and MP for Dunfermline from 1868.
We played host to Ewan Cameron, who was able to tell us all about a Prime Minister, whom I suspect very few of us had heard of. Campbell Bannerman was the UK prime minister from 1905 till 1908 and was in post for 2years and 121days, Ewan was able to tell us about Bannerman’s time and achievements, which whilst not ground-breaking paved the way to begin the process of correcting social injustice. Neil Spriddle gave the Club’s VOT – thank you Neil.
Alistair Durkie won the wine draw.
