Seven beaches and eighty volunteers in total, Rotary was involved in two with Helen and family at Limekilns beach and eight Rotarians and family /friends at the sailing club beach.
An hour was spent picking and logging rubbish from dead seabirds to broken glass with the bulk being small plastic items and wet wipes/sanitary products flushed down the toilet.
These items were all noted and the total will be collated and forwarded to the Marine Conservation Society as part of an ongoing project.
The weather was brilliant and everyone enjoyed the experience.
Thanks again to all those who supported this worthwhile cause, Rotarians, family and friends.
