Bowls Evening

Thu, Sep 2nd 2021 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Annual Bowls event at Northern Bowling Club, Dunfermline

Two years on, the club made a successful return to the West Fife Rotary annual outdoor bowls contest this evening. 8 teams with the outright winners being Keith Brown and Brian Mitchell.

Well done to the winners and runners up Duncan and Robin Grant.  Many thanks to Past President Ewan Archibald for his impeccable arrangements.

The club is indebted to the Northern Bowling Club for allowing them to use their green and clubhouse and thank President John Lyell and Match Secretary Lyle Robertson for all their help with the arrangements.

The Rotary Club of West Fife wish the Northern Bowling Club continued success for the rest of the season especially after their Top Five win away at Crossgates while we were bowling, to reach a semi final.

Our scores on the evening were:

Ann & Keith Davison 7 Joyce & Alastair Durkie 8
Gregor Duff & Robert North 1 Douglas & Christine Scott 10
Morag & Angus Carmichael 5 Duncan & Robin Grant 18
Brian Mitchell & Keith Brown 17 Sandra Grant & Ewan Archibald 2
