COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATION GUIDELINES 

WHO CAN APPLY

The charitable trust of the Rotary Club of West Fife welcomes applications for funding from groups in the West Fife area.  Applicants must be based in or intending to use the funds for the benefit of this area.  This can include sports clubs and schools, charitable voluntary sector organisations, clubs and societies and environmental and community development.   Applications for this funding will not normally be accepted from individuals.

WHAT WE GIVE GRANTS FOR 

Projects, activities and schemes with social, community, educational, cultural, sporting and recreational purposes for the benefit of those within Dunfermline and West Fife.  We look for proposals that are necessary and far reaching that would not ordinarily be funded by other authorities.  This includes problems of the elderly, children, domestic abuse, education and literacy, disabilities, town and community enhancement.

APPLICATION PROCESS

A request for a grant from the Rotary Charitable Trust should be made on a completed application form.  You will find the link to download the grant application form at the bottom of this page.

Each application will require a description of the organisation and its project, a statement of goals and objectives of the project, the total amount needed and the amount requested from Rotary.

Applications should ideally be made two months prior to the start of the project.

Recipients will be expected to issue a follow-up report regarding the effect of Rotary¹s grant that includes photographs, PR and the like.

Recipients are encouraged to acknowledge the Rotary Club of West Fife in their publicity.
