Paul Harris Award for outstanding service in Rotary was presented in June 2020 to Past president Alan Farquharson.
Alan has worked tirelessly in the service of our Club since he joined in February 2006, but this award is most richly deserved for his work with what was the Association of Fife Rotary Clubs – now rebranded, and their work with Young Carers and more recently with Disability Sports Fife. Alan is currently the Chairman of the group, and his input is second to none.
In presenting the award President Brian Mitchell said:-
"I really only became aware of the really valuable work that this group does, when I went along to an award ceremony in Lochgelly, when Alan was unable to attend. I was totally impressed. It gives me great pleasure to present you this well deserved award and say that you are now a Paul Harris Fellow."
