RCWF LUNCH ON 10th 0CTOBER 2015-SCOTLAND V SAMOA
The RCWF held a lunch at McKane Park Clubhouse on the day Scotland played Samoa in the 2015 World Cup. 11 Rotarians, wives and family members enjoyed a lunch of home made lentil soup, an excellent steak pie followed by an abundance of fruit salad and profiteroles and coffee and port. The catering staff are to be congratulated for the quality of their catering and their keen pricing. (£12/head - a great bargain) After a liquid lunch more refreshments were enjoyed whilst awaiting the 2.30pm kick off for the game between The Scots and the Samoans. The atmosphere in the clubhouse was great and enhanced by the regular members and the associated banter. After much toing and froing and a game that remained physical and tense throughout the Scots prevailed and progressed to the last 8 of the World Cup. Unfortunately the Aussies await!
All in all an excellent day out in the local community.
