Members of the Club getting ‘down and dirty’ in the community. The Club was in attendance at the Limekilns & Charlestown gala with a view to get to know people in their patch and highlight the Rotary profile. The main prop was the Rotary shelter tent which is used in disaster torn parts of the world like Nepal. During the course of the Gala the organisers made frequent announcements that the Rotary Club would be accepting donations for the Nepal disaster from which around £100 was raised and will be distributed accordingly. We are extremely grateful to the gala committee and the members of the public who made donations.
The erection of the tent is becoming much easieras we attend more galas.
