Years 1978-80
The first two years
In October 1978 the District extension Officer, Alec Duncan of the Rotary Club of Dunfermline invited Ken Forbes, David Forbes, Ian Miller, Harry Melrose and Roy Petrie to initiate a new club.
Those approached agreed and went about recruiting members until an Interim Club could be formed. The members agreed that the new club be called the Rotary Club of West Fife and that they would meet every Tuesday at 6:30pm at the Pitfirrane Arms Hotel in Crossford.
Inaugural President was A. Kenneth Forbes. Years 1978-1980
