Trampolines at Milestones School
President John accompanied by Past President Roger Barrett, COMVOC chairman Paul Rosewell, with Richard Allison and Richard Colley, attended Milestones School to see the outdoor trampolines, towards which the Club had donated.
We were accompanied by Dawn Imm, School Improvement and Communication Officer, Liz Miles, School Development and Project Officer and Callum, the newly appointed Head Boy. The trampolines were in use when we were there and we were advised that they are rarely out of use.
During the visit there was a live radio interview on Radio Gloucestershire (Anna King Show) where we were also joined by the Head Teacher Mrs Lyn Dance. President John explained the Rotary ethos and why we were so honoured to have donated towards this project.
After a brief tour of the school, we were treated to a sandwich and coffee, made and served by Callum's class mates in their new coffee bar.Richard Colley - Publicity
