Youth Speaks

The District Final of Youth Speaks (A Debating Competition) was recently held at Maisemore Village Hall and Dursley Rotary Club were pleased to Sponsor a team from Rednock School.


Whilst our Rotary Sponsored Team from Rednock School did not win their category (Intermediate) they performed excellently and were a credit to both the Rotary Club and Rednock School.

Individiual team points are not actually announced but each team was able to score a maximum of 300 points. The difference between the first and last teams was only 24 points.

The team deserve our congratulations.

Rotarian Linda Cherry achieved a personal goal last week. She attended a ceremony at Aston Park, the conference centre of Aston Villa Football Club, to receive a certificate and medal in recognition of 100 blood donations.
