On Sunday 11th June 2023 we had a lunch meeting at the Hill in Stroud in honour of our 2022/23 outgoing President.
We were entertained by Professor Collywobbles (aka Phil Collins) with an interesting and amusing history of Punch and Judy. The Professor was supported by Wendy, a friend of Dursley Rotary, who acted as his 'bottler' whilst he was setting up his show booth during which a collection was made for the Rotary charity, End Polio Now.
The money collected by the bottler was added to the large sum raised from the raffle.
Prizes for the raffle were donated by The Oak at Kingshill, Bear Street Garage W-u-E, Cam Butchers as well as Rotarians, thank you all.
