Meeting Notes for 17th November 2025

                               MEETING NOTES FOR MONDAY 17th NOVEMBER, 2025

WELCOME

President David Hearle welcomed everybody to the meeting. 23 members attended.

It was the SGM and President David reported that there was a quorum.

HAMPER SCAMPER

Vivien Barr thanked members for the donations for Hamper Scamper.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT – 16th DECEMBER, 2025

Gill Rouse reported that the programme would include Christmas songs for audience

participation. Please could members endeavour to sell tickets which are priced at £15 each.

LADIES WHO LUNCH – WEDNESDAY 19th NOVEMBER

Rosanne Cole reminded members that the Soup, Cake and Coffee lunch will be held on Wednesday 19th November at 4 Thorncliffe Drive, at 12.30 p.m. Donations in aid of Shelterbox. She reported that 16 ladies were attending.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH – 1st DECEMBER, COTWOLD HILLS GOLF CLUB 12.00 NOON

Richard Purdon reported that 40 people had signed up for the Lunch.

The cost will be £32 per person and will include a welcome drink, two courses, tea or coffee and a mince pie. It will also include a contribution to the tip. Libby and Connor will be performing. Details of the menu are on the Club website.

Payment to be made to the Club General Account. Please pay for your tickets if you

haven’t already done so.

TIN RATTLE AT THE RACECOURSE

Richard Purdon reported that together with Nigel and Rosanne tins were rattled at the

Race Course and had raised for the Club £150.

FIREWORKS AT THE RACECOURSE

Richard reported that due to insurance cover issues the Fireworks have been taken over

by The Jockey Club. 12,000 tickets were sold with 1,000 on the day. £50,000 had been raised. He said that it was good that RCCN went to assist but it was a struggle to get helpers.

The next meeting will be on Monday 1st December at Cotswold Hills Golf Club at 12.00 noon.

This will be the Club Christmas Lunch
