We are negotiating an extension to our contract with The Queens, if you have any ideas that should be considered at this point, please email Nigel 

Would you please let Nigel know, if you would be prepared to collate the meal choices for our fortnightly suppers. 

Our Boules team need volunteers, please talk to Tony, John, Beth or Mike about what is involved. If you can help please ask Nigel to put you on the email distribution. 

Mark Cummings 

Mark will be compering our Carol Concert again this year. 

He contacted me recently to say: My book is out Sept 5th…all the details on my website which will be launched in a couple of weeks. I’ll be at the Cheltenham Lit Fest in October. Website is “markcummingsandgoings.com” I will let you know when it’s live 

Anthony Pawley also sent me this communication: 2 Members might be interested in a talk on 'Glorious Gloucestershire' by our old friend Mark Cummings, with Sybil Ruscoe, on Friday 20th September at 8pm at Blackfriars as part of the Gloucester History Festival  

Well done to those members who give their time to help children at Rowanfield school read. They were presented with certificates at the meeting on 29 July 2024.
