                       Cheltenham North Rotary Club – Christmas Meal with Guests 2023.

Monday 4th December. Queens Hotel 6pm for 6.30pm start. 

Open to Guests and Friends (the more the merrier!) 

Dress Code Black Tie 

Cost£40 per head – 

Please Pay £35 per person for the meal and separately £5 towards entertainment. 

Pay as normal through the Queens own card machine the £35. 

Regarding the£5 please pay as follows.

Table Plan 

Rosanne and Gwynne will be setting out a Table Plan – please liaise directly with them if you wish to sit on a particular table. 

Meal 

Maureen will send out the meal choices as usual a week before, please make sure you send back your choices for you and your guests - 

Carrot and rosemary soup, chilli roasted pumpkin seeds (VG, GF) or 

Ham hock and parsley terrine, pickled carrots and artichoke crisps (GF) 

Roast English turkey, festive stuffing, Fondant potato and gravy (GF on request) or 

Poached fillet of salmon, tomato, lime and chive salsa (GF) or 

Spiced vegetable parcel, coconut dhal, orange and cardamom rice (VG) 

Chocolate, orange tart, orange gel (VG, GF) or 

Christmas pudding, brandy panna cotta 

Coffee and mince pie 

Raffle – 

Please bring with you another £5 note which will be put in an envelope and your name to win – It can be £5 each or per couple to win - 

Afternoon Tea for 4 at the Queens. 

Bottle of Champagne. 

Rosanne has requested payment of a £5 note in an envelope with your name on the outside as an entry into the raffle. You can make as many entries as you wish and to this end Rosanne will have a supply of envelopes and also some £5 notes to exchange for other notes.

Entertainment – A Winter Serenade 

Eric has very kindly agreed to pay towards the cost of this – to which I would like to thank him. (the singers will be setting up from 5pm) 

Comprise of – 

Maria Jagusz, Alice Nelson, Jessica May (keyboard) 

Maria will act as compare and lead the group. 

It will comprise of traditional Christmas songs and carols. 

Words will be provided where the audience will be invited to join in.
