A Club Meeting with Guests at the Queens Hotel

                                            Meeting Queens Hotel 31st August

Dear All

On the 31st August we will be holding a Guest Evening at the Queens Hotel to say goodbye to Heath and his wife Linda who will be returning to the USA in October after Linda's three-year secondment to the UK.

The evening will commence at 6.30pm with pre drinks available before.

There will be an American themed buffet - see below

Partners/Guests are welcome.

A quiz will be held by Heath on American topics with prizes for top and bottom scores.

A well known American game will be available for those energetic members.

Please if you can wear something American.

Buffet -

Beef Sliders, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes

Falafel sliders, lettuce, tomatoes

Hotdogs, onions and mustard mayo

BBQ Chicken Wings

Fries

Sweetcorn Salad

Coleslaw salad

Mixed Leaves

Chocolate Brownies clotted cream, strawberries.

Cost per head £25.

Please notify if you are coming and any guests to Maureen McVitty direct on her e mail as your attendance and partners/guests on - mgm1988@hotmail.co.uk

Do not go through the Rotary system for apologies we only need to know those that are coming.

Those that do come will need to pay for the meal/s at the hotel reception. Drinks are to be purchased at the bar.

Those that wish to attend must notify Maureen no later than Monday 28th - 10 am. If you do not, we will assume that you are not attending. There will be no chasing up.

We will also be inviting Rotary Future as Heath has been part of this club and attends regularly.

Parking -

Although there are spaces within the Queens hotel, please note there is also free parking after 6pm outside the hotel.

Council is working hard to sort out the detail and a revised programme. This will be issued as soon as possible, as you realise there is a lot to change.
