Update from Chris Firth District Governor 20 February 2021
Conference Special
I know that many of you have been asking about the 2021 conference: when it will be, and what is the format and so forth.
We are making very good progress with the format, speakers and the Rotary Showcase. This year it will be different.
The flyer below gives you early information about the conference and we'll follow up with more detail on speakers as we get them.
This year has been unique. Members and clubs have responded magnificently to the challenge and have many stories to tell.
Through this conference we can let the rest of the world know what we have been doing and the organisations we've been working with.
So if you have such a story then let me know. We will find a way to promote it, whether in Showcase, presentation at a District Forum and other outlets.
Thank you for all that you're doing especially in supporting the vaccination programme and in supporting local people who have been affected by the pandemic in so many ways.
Rotary at its best and rising to the challenge that the opportunity has given us.
Conference Flyer Summary
DG Chris Firth and Linda invite you to the first
DISTRICT 1100E-CONFERENCE
LAUNCH DATE 26 APRIL 2021
Open to Rotarians Partners and Friends Free to all
We promised you a conference with a difference this year and here is the initial flyer and some information about the Showcase.
Rotary Showcase
We have an expanded Rotary Showcase.
Would your club like to be part of the Virtual Rotary Showcase? I have already spoken to a number of clubs and organisations who are booking up.
This year we have so many extraordinary stories to tell. I’ve not seen or heard all of them but you in your clubs know about them and may want to share them with us.
Because this is a virtual showcase your story can go round the world and show what D1100 has achieved in these unprecedented times
And it’s free apart from any internal production costs you incur.
We have an initial 25 Showcase slots but can expand this if demand is greater
If you are interested contact John Pooley of Worcester RC who is manging this part of conference and he will give you detailed guidelines. john@rotaryworcester.org
