                                                                  GIN TASTING

The club meeting on Thursday 17th December will feature a ZOOM presentation by Lits Philippou entitled “Gin: from Mother’s Ruin to Queen’s Top Tipple”.

There will be a charge of £5.00 per person to join the presentation as this is a fundraising event. Additionally three 35 cl  samples of gins mentioned in the presentation and which you probably have not previously sampled can be purchased for £10 for the three. These will be delivered to those purchasing them and with a Cheltenham postcode prior to the event. Members living outside the Cheltenham postcode area and wishing to purchase the samples should contact me Steve Wood0 to see what can be arranged. If you wish to dilute the gin with tonic, or whatever, you will need to provide your choice of mixer.

You are welcome, indeed encouraged, to invite guests to join us on this evening.

Payment for both members and guests can be made via the link below. which will take you to the Gin Talk page of the Ticket Tailor website. When you have completed your purchase please either print off the Order Summary or print the confirmatory email that will be sent to you and have the printout available on the evening of the talk. The link to the ZOOM talk is included in your Order Summary along with the Meeting ID and the Passcode.

LAST DATE FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE GIN SAMPLES IS 10th DECEMBER

In the Victorian era, gin began to shed its seedy past to become the fashionable drink it is today. So pour yourself a G&T and let Lits - an expert drinkologist and an entertaining speaker - take us through this spirit’s journey from gin palace to Buckingham Palace!

I look forward to seeing you on 17th December, glass in hand!
