Once again I have been asked to host a street collection on behalf of Marie Curie, The UKs leading end of life charity. Club council has given me permission to use the clubs marquee and to ask members for their help on the day. For every £20 collected this will give an hours care by a Marie Curie nurse in the home of a terminally ill patient and will also give respite time for their carer.
I have now received the licence from WODC to collect in Witney High Street and the Woolgate on Saturday 2nd March from 9.00 am to 2.00pm. It would raise funds to allow a terminally ill patient to spend their final days in their own home with their family and friend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.'What We Do' Main Pages:
