Wood Green Interact Club Members

address a Rotary Club Evening Meeting

Wood Green School Interact Club Members

The theme for the evening focused on the involvement of young people in the Rotary movement.

The main speaker was Mike Ware, Rotary District 1090's Interact Liaison Officer who outlined the areas of the Rotary movement which appeal most to those aged between 13 and 18. Recent recuitment in the District proved that there are many in this age group only too keen to arrange projects for the local community. Mike also explained how those aged between 18 and 30 could also become involved as members of a Rotaract Club

The audience, which included representatives from four local Schools, then heard from the Wood Green School Interact Club Members who outlined their plans for the current year, explaining how they were raising funds and the projects which would benefit from their efforts.
