Witney Rotary Presents £1,545 to Sobell House Hospice
Witney Rotary has presented £1,545 to Sobell House Hospice, raised through a community raffle and town centre street collection. A fantastic result thanks to the generosity of local people.
Witney Rotary has presented a cheque for £1,545 to Sobell House Hospice following two successful fundraising activities supported by the local community.
The total includes £320 raised through a raffle at Richmond Villages Witney on 28 September and £1,225 collected during a street collection in Witney town centre on 3 October, with support from Windrush Radio.
The cheque was presented at Sobell House's charity warehouse by Witney Rotary Treasurer Mike Alexander and Club President David Connolly to Beth Marsh from Sobell House.
Sobell House provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care to patients and families across Oxfordshire.
Witney Rotary would like to thank everyone who donated, volunteered or supported these fundraising activities.
The Club is proud to continue supporting Sobell House and the important contribution it makes to our local community.
