Welwyn Garden City Rotary Club was pleased to continue its annual tradition of supporting the Swallow Dell School Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 6th.
Our Rotary Santa was in attendance throughout the event, which ran from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The Christmas Fair, expertly organised by the school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA), featured a variety of games, stalls, and a raffle, attracting significant attendance from parents and siblings.
A highlight of the morning was a dedicated quiet session held inside the school hall. This special arrangement allowed our Santa to meet with the school's SEND children (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) early on, prior to the arrival of the main crowd. These children were appropriately referred to as the VIPs for the day, and it was a genuinely heartwarming experience for our volunteer Rtn John Williams.
The Rotary Club extends its sincere thanks to the Swallow Dell School PTA, and specifically acknowledges
Jake Levell for his coordination efforts in delivering such a well-organised and successful community event.
We look forward to Next Year
