Santa Paws Fundraiser in Stanborough Park raised £670 and saw 60 dogs and their humans queue up to take photographs with Santa

The Rotary Club of Welwyn Garden City is pleased to confirm the total raised from our highly successful Santa Paws fundraiser, held on Sunday, November 30th 2025

The festive event was met with an outstanding reception, with 60 dogs and their owners attending to have their  photographs taken with Santa. The level of festive spirit and community engagement was truly exceptional.

We are delighted to confirm that the event successfully raised an impressive £670. This substantial total, generated through the sales of raffle tickets and general contributions, will be directed towards supporting our local charities and essential Rotary projects.

The Club extends its sincere and heartfelt gratitude to our generous supporters and sponsors who were instrumental in the success of the day:

  • The brilliant staff at Better at Stanborough Park

  • The team at Tesco

  • Gilbertson & Page for their valued product donations.

Our deepest thanks go to every person who attended, brought their furry companions, purchased raffle tickets, and supported us by taking home a doggie treat bag. Your commitment to our fundraising efforts means a great deal to the Club.

We look forward to welcoming you all back for next year's event!
