Rotary Clubs Unite for Christmas Toy Box Appeal,

The Rotary Clubs of Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield recently joined forces to volunteer their time at the London warehouse, continuing the massive effort for the Christmas Toy Box Appeal.

Despite the cold warehouse environment, the dedication and fellowship kept spirits high as volunteers worked towards this hugely ambitious Rotary initiative: ensuring every child in every staffed women's refuge across the nation receives a box of new gifts this Christmas.

The small team of volunteers worked diligently throughout the afternoon. Their mission was very clear: to spread vital Christmas cheer and send a powerful message to mothers and children that they are not forgotten during this difficult time of year. Every packed box is a tangible example of Rotary People of Action uniting for a humanitarian cause.
