Watford’s fireworks display raises thousands for local charities
This year’s Watford Fireworks Night was nothing short of magical! Held at the Cassiobury Park the event drew
thousands of spectators who gathered to enjoy an evening filled with dazzling
displays, great entertainment, and a strong sense of community spirit.
From the moment the gates opened, attendees were treated to a variety of activities, delicious food stalls, and live music that set the stage for a night to remember. As the sky lit up with breathtaking fireworks, the cheers and smiles of the crowd reminded us why this event has become such a beloved tradition in Watford.
But the true magic of the night went beyond the spectacular show—it was about the difference we made together. Team Watford Rotary joined ranks with other volunteers to raise funds for local charities. Thanks to the incredible joint effort, well over £8,000 were raised for Watford Lions Club, the Watford Community Fund, and the Chairwoman’s charities (as published on Watford Council website). These donations will help local charities making a real difference in our community.
