Annual cheque presentation at the West Herts College Restaurant, Watford

Watford Rotary doing what it does best.

The culmination of a years hard work was realised on the 17th April when we held our annual cheque presentation at the West Herts College Restaurant. This being our Centenary Year, we wanted to make the amount of what we give to charities that much more special, so we donated almost £20,000 to 17 local charities, plus we also managed, with the help of a Rotary International Foundation Global Grant, to donate a medical mannequin to help train doctors to a children’s hospital specialising in heart disease, worth £32,000.
