Chris Calow, who works closely with Watford Rotarian Howard Dick, gave an excellent presentation on 20th May of his work in Romania. This is in conjunction with the Smile Foundation. Extreme poverty, homelelessness and poor health care are endemic in Romania. Chris, together with his wife Pat, and Howard, are doing what they can to deliver much needed eye care.
