Supporting Young People - Rotary Travel Award 2020

This is a financial award of £500 made by the Rotary Club of Wymondham to a student attending a local Wymondham school, currently in year 13 who is undertaking some form of travel and activity, most probably to support a gap year type programme.

ROTARY CLUB OF WYMONDHAM TRAVEL AWARD 2020

This is a financial award of £500 made by the Rotary Club of Wymondham to a student attending a local Wymondham school, currently in year 13 who is undertaking some form of travel and activity, most probably to support a gap year type programme. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate that their activity will lead to the benefit of society either locally or internationally.

Applications will be considered by a panel and applicants will be interviewed prior to the selection of the award winner. 

Conditions of the Rotary Travel Award:

•    Trips that include a period of salaried employment are not eligible for an award

•    Any activity should have some purpose or benefit for people other than the student

•    On completion of the activity the successful applicant is expected to provide the Rotary Club of Wymondham with a short written or verbal report of the work involved.
