Youth Service

Youth Service Committee activities include:

Dictionaries for Life   The presentation of dictionaries to students in year 4 of local primary schools.  Working with the other Rotary Clubs in King's Lynn we present dictionaries to all the schools in the King's Lynn area.

Technology Tournament  An annual event at which teams of Secondary School students in three different age categories are given a task to complete.  The task is provided by RIBI (Rotary's national organisation).  Teams are judged on their teamwork and project planning as well as the finished result.

Mentoring  Members and friends of Priory Rotary Club mentor students at King's Lynn Academy.

Rotary Youth Leadership Award  We sponsor young people to attend the week long course at Grafham Water which involves working in teams to develop a range of practical and leadership skills.  For the last 4 years we have enabled young people from Bespak to attend.

Crucial Crew  Support for a day at which Primary School students learn about all aspects of safety - such as first aid, fire, stranger danger, social media, flooding etc.
