Flight for Life
On Saturday the 14thof September 2019 hundreds of pigeons will be released in Berwick, Northumberland, to race back to Peterborough, if sponsored they could raise a lot of money towards the eradication of polio worldwide or indeed your own favourite charity.
Every pigeon sponsored could represent vaccination against Polio for 50 children
Sponsor a pigeon for £10
1stprize £200 (1st sponsored pigeon home)
2ndprize £100 (2nd sponsored pigeon home)
3rdprize £50 (3rd sponsored pigeon home)
Rotary clubs are invited to sell sponsorship retaining 50% of money raised towards their own polio donation
(or of course a charity of their own choice).
A trophy will be awarded to the club generating the most sponsorship.
