Visit to Sea Cadets HQ in Peterborough

Two club members visited the Sea Cadets at their Peterborough HQ in the Old Custom House in Peterborough

We were delighted to be able to visit the Sea Cadets at their Peterborough HQ in the Old Custom House in Peterborough.  The building is the second oldest building in Peterborough, the oldest is the Cathederal!

We were given a tour of this wonderful building and learnt about how the Sea Cadet organisation works.  They work with young people to inspire work and commitment. The platform they offer is built upon the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.

The organisation is a chrity so rely upon donations to fund their activities.  The cadets do pay a small subscription but they are expected to work hard and fundraise too.

Before we left the building we were able to make a donation to their Bursary scheme.
