Dictionaries For Life

Dictionaries For Life is a Rotary project enabling us to purchase Usborne Dictionaries for Year 6 primary school pupils.

The Dictionaries For Life (D4L) project enables Rotary Clubs to buy dictionaries suitable for children aged  10/11 years old.  We choose to donate these dictionaries to the Year 6 pupils at two local primary schools; Ravensthorpe and Werrrington schools.  Each pupil has their name inscribed in their dictionary and after learning a little bit about Rotary received their dictionary.  Even with computers and the interent providing the ability to research, teachers and pupils still value having a dictionary.
