MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

Our club started to work towards having a satellite club during the last Rotary year. Members of this would be club members but the meetings and organisation of the satellite club would differ from the main club, to suit its membership. This is still moving forward and with hard work, I am confident this will come to fruition this rotary year. We can also look into the possibilities of corporate membership.

                It's always worrying when members leave and again last year we saw a reduction in our numbers. After   recently inviting a younger colleague to talk to us he really enjoyed the fellowship, the smiles, the food and the  laughter. It was not what he thought rotary was, this is where we have to change people's perceptions.

                The Facebook page now has over 150 likes and is been updated regularly as is the website. Rotary Corner goes from strength to strength bringing to the attention of Peterborough Telegraph readers what Rotary is doing locally.

                Health and safety, protection, public relations and family of rotary all come under the Membership services and I will be arranging meeting of this group as required.
